Rocking for Shazz

On Saturday, 31 October, Mothers of Rock return to The Hornsby Inn for a huge night of live music, fundraising and community spirit—all in support of the fight against breast cancer.

The fundraiser holds a deeply personal meaning for the band. In September 2022, Mothers of Rock member Shazz was diagnosed with metastatic stage four breast cancer. Throughout the scans, treatments and difficult side effects, music has helped her stay motivated and find moments of joy.

“We call ourselves Warriors. Thank goodness for music and my band, which keep me motivated and give me moments of fun in the middle of it all. Fundraisers like this give hope, fund new clinical trials and bring us closer to a cure.” – Shazz

Come dressed in pink and enjoy a massive night featuring Mothers of Rock live, vouchers and loads of prizes. After raising an incredible $15,000 last year, we’re aiming to reach $20,000 in 2026, with all proceeds supporting breast cancer research.
